IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING TO A COUNTRY FROM THE UK, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU WILL NEED TO REFER TO YOUR DESTINATION GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES FOR ADVICE ON WHICH TYPE OF TEST YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE FOR ENTRY INTO THAT COUNTRY.

When should I book my COVID Test?

Follow instruction sent by your airline or requirement of destination country and then select appropriate time slot. E.g. If you are told you need to do the test 72 hours prior to your flight, and your flight was on a Thursday, you need to book the test any day After Tuesday (Inclusive).
If you flight is on a Tuesday book for same day test for Monday, Sunday we are closed.

Is your test home based or clinician based?

Home tests are ones you do at home and Clinician basted tests are where you attend a testing center and a professional will do the test for you. All our tests are clinician based, you need to select your nearest test center for your test and attend your appointment for sample collection.

Can I Walk-in your nearest center for test?

No, you need to book an appointment through our booking system. You will then be shown available days and time slots on our booking page.

Why I need to fill person details on booking page?

These details will be displayed on your test result/report. Please make sure you enter your details as per your passport or ID document. You are responsible for all details you provide.

I’ve made a mistake on the information for the booking form – what do I do?

You need to send an email to test@thehealthcheck.co.uk with your booking information and correct details. Information will be edited in our system and will be notified. If however you have made a mistake in the email you provided, you need to call our customer help line on :0808 202 7200

How long it will take for my sample collection?

If you have booked online from our booking page and entered all your information, your sample collection will not take more than 5-10 minutes. You might need to wait if there is queue of customer.

Can I do Self Swab?

Our clinician will ask you for this, if you are comfortable with self-swabbing you can do it on site.

How long does it take to receive the test results?

RT-PCR Next Day report will be issued next day of sample collection between 12-3pm

RT-PCR Same day report will be issued same day of sample collection by 11pm

Antigen Test report will be issued same day of sample collection within 3-4 hours.

Where do I get the report?

Once the result is verified, an email will be sent to the email address used while filling the booking form. Please ensure to check junk mail folders also.

Does the report show date and time?

Yes, Date and Time are on the Certificate. The time will be set to UK GMT time.

Does the report have a QR-Code?

Yes, report comes with QR code.

Can I print off the report?

Yes, PDF copy of the certificate can be printed from the email.

I’ve made a mistake for the information for the report – what do I do?

You will need to send an email to report@thehealthcheck.co.uk with correct details. New report will be issued in 4-6-hour time.

My result is Positive, what do I do?

You must self-isolate straight away. Please continue to follow your local government guidelines.
